Resolved iPhone 4 need to get pics off, help me

ok i got a white iphone 4, i dropped it in water and the screen doesnt work. i turned it on i think... but it wont show up on my pc. what do i do? recovery mode? dfu mode? help. noobie here..
If it doesn't show up when you connect it to a computer, you may be out of luck.
Did you dry it out? If not, immediately turn it off and put it in a plastic bag full of rice. This will help pull any moisture out of it.
After you leave it in this bag for 3 or 4 days, THEN try to turn it on and plug it into your computer.

I helped fix a iPhone that went in the washer the other day... Hold the home button and the sleep button at the same time until you see the apple logo see if that works. Tell me how it goes. But did you take off the back at all?
