iphone 4-No mail notification.

I have 2 mail accounts on my iphone 4. One is yahoo. Another is charter mail(cable co.)which is on the mail application on my macbook. When I receive new emails, only those from yahoo account that the iphone notify me right away with ding sound. If there's emails coming in to my Charter account, there won't be notification right away with sound unless I tap on the mail icon and go there to check.

Is there a way I can make it work the like my yahoo account?

Not all email providers support push email. Yahoo does but maybe not the other one?

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data > Choose something other than "Manually"
