iphone 4 no service

i just got an iphone 4 and i have tried att sim, H2O and simple mobile sim and each time i put the sim cards in my iphone says no service and does not show any names of the sim card that is in, my straight talk sim should hopefully arrive on monday will that fix my problem or is my iphone messed up?? im on 5.1.1 jailbroken its a ATT iphone
