iphone 4 not charging! Help!

I plugged my iphone 4 into my ihome alarm clock last night, as I do every night and I woke up this morning to find that it hadn't charged my phone. I have plugged into my dock and two other chargers. The battery icon shows the plug as if it's fully charged but the unlock screen shows the red almost empty battery. It stays at 5%. Also when I open the battery magic app, it shows that it's charging. I'm leaving town today and I'm waiting for a call about a new job offer, so I'm freaking out! Any suggestions?

If you can wait.. 20 minutes or so? I don't think it will take that long but it might...

Let it drain to 0% and turn off. When it does plug it in and that should fix it.
