Updated iTunes to the latest release (iTunes 10.6.2 /25), and now the iPhone-4 (iOS 5.1.1) is not seen. It was working fine and Ok before the iTunes update. An older iPod still connects to iTunes Ok via the same direct USB cable. Have tried reinstalling iTunes, restarting the Mac Pro, and rebooting the iPhone. But there has been no change. There are no error messages. Have seen some similar (but different) issues discussed here on the forum. And have checked the Apple support pages. However, no valid solution has been found yet. Any more magnificent ideas gratefully accepted.
