Recently my iPhone 4 has started occasionally getting messages in bursts. It's almost like I have no service, then instantly get all of my missed messages at once, but that isn't the case. A lot of times, me sending a message triggers it and I immediately get several messages, some being up to an hour old. This has never happened before, but now it's making me slightly paranoid because I never know when I'm not getting messages that I should be.

Has this happened to anyone else? I live in an area with full bars and 3G, but they just recently activated a new tower really close to me, and the timing seems consistent. Do you think the new tower could be messing with my messages? Or is it an iPhone OS bug?
