Hi folks, long time lurker with question you might be able to help with...a while back my 32gb iPhone 3GS got stolen while I was backpacking in Laos and since then I've been waiting for my contract upgrade time to come around. I just lost the crappy SonyEricsson K800i that i was using as a temporary option at the weekend messing around in the snow, so now that its upgrade time I thought I'd treat myself...

But as the iPhone 4 comes with iOS4, i dont think i can get it as it wont work with the version of itunes and with 10.4.11 that im rocking on my (now-ancient) 1.67 Powerbook G4. I'm desperate to upgrade to a new Mac but as the powerbook still just about works and I've had other priorities to spend money on I haven't as of yet. Possibly will january-time with Xmas bonus or could wait on new releases. Getting back on track, I was wondering if any of the genius' on here knew of any way that I could either get the iPhone 4 to sync with my powerbook in iOS 4 or to get it to go back to the previous operating system so I can still use it on this laptop for the time being...any help would be much appreciated, even if its just to say cant be done!! Cheers
