Using "System Monitor" (available in app store) I get around 150MB of "Other" memory usage. 60MB wired, 95MB active, 45MB inactive, and 160MB free are the divisions for the rest.

I was just wondering what exactly is "Other". I've heard that it is shared memory (i.e. GPU, etc.) and/or memory that the OS does not label as any of the other categories. Also, is this normal for it ("Other") to take THIS much? For example, if I have "Facebook", "Safari" with 4 tabs, and "Tweetbot" all open my free system memory (via SBSettings) is down to ~50MB. And everything just lags like crazy...
