iPhone 4 outer screen broken, which one is it to be replaced?

So I've broken my iPhone 4 front screen, but it is still usable. The display works, the touch works.

So I want to buy the replacement part on EBay or the like. I see LCD screen and digitizers available. I'm guessing all I need is the digitizer (whatever it is) as if the LCD was broken it would probably effect the display.

I'm going to buy white parts, does this make a difference on what I will need? Thanks.
