iphone 4 photos size

Today i have make some photos on my iphone 4 i don't understand why some photo size is about 2 mb but some are more then 3 mb
Why is a different in size

Depends on the content of the photo. A really busy, detailed scene has more information, and therefore more data, in it than a photo of a blank piece of paper for instance.

The amount of detail in the photo will affect file size.
