My wife's iPhone 4 power button has stopped working. It doesn't "click" down and when pressed, nothing happens. I'm wondering what parts need to be replaced.

I have found the power button replacement, but I'm not sure that replaces the button part that is broken?

This walk through specifically says its not going to fix the switch part of the power button.

Help!! :confused::eek:

The part you referenced is simply the home button "cover." The part you need is the iPhone 4 Power button, Ambient light, and proximity sensor flex cable. Be sure to get the part for the CDMA/ Verizon version and not the GSM.

Happy repairing!
