You've gotta put a bulky case on the phone, and keep it on the mat to charge it. It works, slower than normal, but until Apple builds in that technology, it's just not a viable option IMO.

have you seen the case for the iPhone 4 yet?

its less bulky than several normal iPhone cases

I feel its a very convenient charging option
 
I'm surprised people actually buy these powermat things. What good is wireless charging if you have to set the thing on a base still? My home cordless phones are just as wireless in that regard.

Though I will admit the iPhone 4 powermat case looks better than they have in the past. I still wouldn't get one personally. To each their own though, obviously.
