Home button I guess, mimic of the oldmacbook pro power switches on the power grills
Could be altered to be used as whatever, camera button, etc

If this was a real phone the speakers would be questionable.. Would the sound be muffled when the slider is not vertical?

I thought about that too haha, might be able to add some acoustic tubes though the face to carry the sound to the outside.
Main reason I added the button on the keyboard side was to add an aluminum feature which is more challenging in Illustrator, more learning!

It's obviously just an led behind the glass so unless its blinking it's invisible
Sorry, I don't really see the point at the present time. In the future, when we have some new technology at reasonable price it will be possible to expand the potential of the iPhone in a way that can be sold at a competitive price. Though, technologically speaking, electronic devices that work seamlessly with one another and are independently multi-functional are going to be the next big thing. Yeah, maybe Apple could be one of the first to come up with those...

i think it looks nice, but personally i don't like slide out qwerty keyboards, i'm quite happy with the virtual keyboard.

OP, great concept. best i've ever seen with a keyboard.
however, i think the speaker placement is bad. your hands would be covering it if you're typing something, and if it's closed, well, you won't get any sound.

When holding the phone actually, if you take your iphone and hold it landscape the side rests against your palms and would leave that area exposed for the most part.
Or at least that's my excuse :]

My second page has productivity stuff and multimedia all in folders, I like to keep it clean though
That's actually just a screenshot of my phone using the SBRotator app (cydia) and the rotation works, though is no my cup of tea. If I had time I would have redesigned the UI to make it better in landscape mode
