Hi im new to the forums :D

Ok I have a problem i guess and I need some info please.

I was at the store earlyer today and i went to the bathroom and when I walked out the stall, something fell and it was a legit nice clean iPhone 4. So I picked it up and it had no sim card in it and it says

"No SIM card installed"
"Insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate iPhone"

I dont know what version or anything about it because its not activated. I had to update itunes to the lastest version, so does this mean that the iPhone firmware is 4.2.1?

I really need answers please.

4.3 for the At&T. 4.2.6 for the Verizon. Why don't you try to find the owner or turn it into the store? The person will probably come back to the store to look for it.

it was at&t cuz there was a sim card in it,
i dont know what version, but i did manage to jailbreak it using 4.2.1, so its probably that, but i need to hacktivate it cuz i cant go and pay for service just to activate it

If it's been a few days then honestly I'd call the police station and report it. That way at least you tried to do the right thing. If no one claims it then it's yours without guilt.
