Iphone 4 problem playing Podcast

It is weird. My iphone 4 can not download some episodes while others from the same series are just fine. Error message is the movie can not be played on this Iphone (though they are actually audio podcasts). These podcasts can be downloaded and played on my old 3GS and still can be played in PC Itune.

For experiment, I syn those podcasts which can not be downloaded from PC itune to Iphone 4, guess what, now they can be played. I was wondering why Iphone 4 can not download and play some of the podcasts?

Ever since upgrading my 3Gs to iOS4, I randomly get the message "...podcast cannot be played on this iPhone" when trying to download through iTunes with the phone.

Strangely, it's random, in that I will get the message, then wait a few hours and try again and not get the message.

Any ideas on what's going on here?

I'm having the same problem.
It just started yesterday and as OP stated, I can download some episodes but not others.

The error message is that this podcast cannot be played on this iphone.
Meanwhile it worked find on my 3G.

I'm using an Iphone 4.

Any help on this?
