My wife's iPhone 4 is acting really weird.

She has a very limited data pan with only 200MB allowance every month. This is enough for her data traffic use.

I have turned off iCloud backups and Documents and Data on the settings. The only thing I have left on is Location Services.

She has apps like Whatsapp, Viber and Facebook Messenger that contain her data use. The phone is put in WiFi when she is at home and she turns on Fly Mode when she goes to sleep.

The strange thing is that every day almost at 7:15AM, right after she turns the phone on in the mornings, the data use spikes. The phone gets between 5mb and 10mb of data use. This really is impacting her cell bill. Something is using the phone every time she comes back online.

How can i know what is this strange app or service that is producing the traffic so I can disable it?

Thanks.

You can try to check it in Settings > Cellular at the bottom where it shows what apps are using cellular data and how much of it they have been using (and you can even enable/disable different apps as far as cellular data use goes). You can also try some apps that might be able to provide similar information, like Onavo Count (and perhaps even use Onavo Extend to help minimize data usage).

I will try all this tomorrow to see what is happening.
Thank you.
