iPhone 4 Proximity Sensor Problems

The proximity sensor on the iPhone 4 rarely works. Many others have noticed this problem, so I'm starting a thread for people to report findings and see if we can find a solution. I've been hanging up on people, accidentally switching over for call-waiting, accidentally dialing numbers, etc. Post here if you're having the same issue.

On a 10 minute call I accidentally muted the phone twice because of this.

Some people say the "Reset all settings" option fixes it. Didn't work for me.

There have been several threads, but this issue either isn't as serious as the reception issue or simply being overshadowed by the fact you can't hold this phone with your left hand.

My girlfriend is having the same problem with her 16gb. She is randomly hanging up on people, putting people on speaker phone & tapping the kepad. She is also getting the "no sim" error constantly. This seems like a pretty buggy device so far.
