Evening.

i have an iphone 4. i was having an issue with the power button. it stopped working. SO i bought a power ribbon off ebay as well as the mount for the power button.

Took apart the phone as per the itfix guide. Got the new ribbon in and the power button works like a treat however the proximity sensor is not reconising when its covered.

I took it back off today and realised the little rubber pad was missing form the sensor . I bought a new pad and placed it on today. However its still the same.
Could it be a duff cable?

Mike
