Hi,

I just recieved a brand new iphone 4 and when i tap the top part of the phone against my palm i hear something rattling, but the rattling is not there when i shake the device?

is there something loose in my phone? or is that normal

thanks in advance.

I have rattling in mine. I think it's the sleep/wake button. It scared me at first but nothing bad has come of it. Try pressing lightly on the button (just put a finger on it) and shake the phone. Mine doesn't rattle when I do this.

its not the sleephome button and it doesnt rattle when i shake, only when i tap the top part of the iphone.

I think it has something to do with the camera sensor, mine does it too, nothing to worry about really.

the thing is some phones do that, some phones dont. like with my friends.
