No all of the replacement now are brand nw per multiple users experiences.
How do you tell if its a refurb or a new one? Is the serial number different like in the past?
If you get a replacement phone within the initial 30 days and then decide to return the phone before the 30 days is up for a full refund, can you?

You posted this in a thread a few days ago and I told you then it was not true.
I have had mine replaced twice now, once from the store out of the "black box" and once shipped to me from apple care.
First replacement started with an 8
Second started with a 7S
I don't know where you are getting this from but it is completely untrue info you are spreading.
Sorry, I stand corrected. I assume these were iPhone 4? If so, they're not starting with 5 for the time being since they're so new but will eventually.
