iPhone 4 Resell after launch

I have someone who wants to buy an iPhone 4 for $250 right now, but that leaves my Mom out of an iPhone until after event. If she was to wait until after, do you think it would lose more than $50 in value, so less than $200?

It's a perfect condition iPhone 4 for AT&T. 16GB Black.
