Iphone 4 Restore Question

I have an Iphone 4 with iOS 4.2.1 and baseband 03.10.01. I jailbroke it using Greenpois0n. Since it was my first jailbreak, i installed lots of stuff just to check out the different stuff and now my phone is slow. My gevey sim also says invalid sim even though i did not restart the phone. I wanted to know that if i go on General-Settings-Reset-Erase all settings and content, will this brick my iphone? I read that it bricks it if you have used other sources for jailbreak but nobody mentioned greenpois0n. If itunes is the only way to restore it, it will update to 4.3.3. Is there any way to keep my iOS 4.2.1?
