I visited my local phone store tonight and a salesman told me they were sold out of all iPhone 4s and didn't know when or if new stock would be arriving. He said this almost always means Apple is about to release a new phone. So it sounds like we might be getting a new iPhone 4GS or iPhone 5 this month or next.

if your looking for an iphone 4 get them at walmart or sams club for 147

Plenty available from AT&T and verizon online. Salesperson was blowing you smoke.

So he admitted he had no idea whether new stock was coming or not, and that means a new model is to follow?
