iPhone 4 screen changes brightness

Hi All,

Does anyone has the same experience:

During beginning of the call ( after dialing) the screen changes its brightness rapidly 2 times, sometimes.

This could be an attempt to recalibrate the proximity sensor. However, I can see this also if I use bluetooth.

It does not happen always. Just from time to time.

Settings > Brightness > Auto-Brightness

I don't have this occur during calls (that I can remember). It does happen just about every other time though.

Auto Brightness never changes the brightness rapidly. So, this is not auto - brightness.

This happened to me when I turned auto brightness on for my girlfriend. I think you said auto brightness is toggled off for you, though. I don't really know -- but, again, my phone showed this type of behavior when I put the phone on speaker while in a call and tried to use Safari (with auto brightness on). This never happened with auto brightness off and only with iOS4.
