iPhone 4 screen checkerboarding

Got a replacement iPhone 4 about a week ago, and every so often I see faint checkerboard lines showing up on the screen. It fades in and out, but its really annoying.

The lines are super fine, but clearly visible. Is this a known issue?

Fades in and out? Do you have a picture of this?
