Hey,

I've noticed lately that my iPhone 4's screen (or i think) is starting to go dim after a while for no reason. The automatically adjust setting is off and the brightness is up to 100%.

I can tell because the colours seem so much more dull like the white's from safari and the grey's in the app store, etc.

Funny thing is, when I turn it off and back on, the screen is at full brightness again! This still happens after a restore! My warranty with Apple expired back in September '11 but I've got my carrier's warranty for the remaining contract time. Should I try and get it replaced?

Any help's great! Thanks!

Needing the brightness at 100% doesn't sound good for a start. I'd certainly get it looked at.

Ahh, I generally like having it at 100% cause the screen looks really vibrant, etc - didn't realise it could cause a problem. Ill take it to o2 at the weekend.

I didn't mean that it could cause a problem, I meant it was a sign of a problem. The screen should be vibrant at less than 100% brightness.
