iPhone 4 Screen Flicker?

My iphone 4s screen flickers very quickly and slightly when the screen is being turned on in any way from being off. Pressing the lock button on and off is the best way to see what i mean. It only happens sometimes but when it dos it keeps doing ti for a while. It dosent seem like the phone is broken but maybe a software issue? Any ideas?

my macbook pro does the same thing, i just turned up the brightness to fix...

Happens to me and many others, and has been discussed ad nauseum. I even think it has happened to people on a 3GS, so the feeling is it's a software issue.

Hopefully the 4.0.1 update will fix it.

FYI- turning up brightness, at least on the ip4, won't do anything (I tried before)

I had this also on my 3GS but its less noticeable on the 4.

Same prob here on my brand new iPhone 4. Any solutions yet? Or shall I go for a replacement?
