iphone 4 screen help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My screen keeps going black or just have the led light on only,
i can hear txts,calls,etc
i tried the home and power button hold thing but doesnt work, how can i fix this?? i can also open it up through winscp

When you say the home power thing does not work, does that mean it won't reboot or you did reboot but the problem still exists ?

What happens when you connect it to iTunes via USB? Can you put it into DFU? It is currently jailbroken?
