I can see the rainbow everytime I look at the screen.

Think it'll be like this for ever, or will my eyes eventually adjust and it will go away?

What could cause this? This didn't happen on my 3G....

I haven't tried this yet, but nothing you do will make it go away and your eyes will not adjust. This is AT BEST an intermediate optics discussion which you are very clearly not equipped for based on your statements/question. If you're interested, check Google for articles on different optics behaviors.

Yeah, I just put mine on and see what you mean. Shifts towards purple in vertical, towards green in landscape.

monksealpup is right about it not going away. It is what it is.

My 3G didn't have this effect, but it did lose a stop or two of light when in landscape mode.

It's because you're using polarized glasses. If you've ever worn them and looked at some car windows, it'd be just the same.

Wow, you're a real a-s! The guy just had a question and was probably hoping nice people would help him, which they will! Hasn't your mother ever taught you that if you don't have anything nice to say to not say anything at all?
