iPhone 4 shipping software version

What version software is shipping on new iPhone 4s? Are they shipping with 4.1 installed or 4.0?

I need to be able to unlock the iPhone, but it's not possible to unlock 4.1 if the firmware is the latest version.

You will most likelly get 4.1 and will not be able to unlock at the moment.
Chances to still get one with 4.0.2 or less are very slim.

That's what I was afraid of. I spend most of my time outside of the US and I have a sim card from an international carrier that I'm using in my 3G right now. I was hoping be able to continue doing that with the 4. I guess I'll just have wait and hope an unlock comes along soon.

bought mine 3 weeks ago and it was on 4.1 and newest baseband
