iPhone 4 running iOS 4.1 baseband 1.59, jailbroken and unlocked.
This has happened a few times in the past 6 months, but today it shut down on me several times (in sleep mode). I had to press the power and home button for 10 seconds to get the apple logo to appear and then it would take 2 or 3 minutes to reboot.
Connected it to iTunes to back it up, and the OS crashed and went into Safe Mode twice. It is backed up now.
Ive been reading the thread on this issue over at the apple support forums, there doesnt seem to be any solution apart from getting it replaced. I would like to avoid this route if possible since I need it unlocked

Apart from trying to restore it to iOS 4.1/4.2.1 with custom firmware (which I will try if it continues to switch off randomly), does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/solutions that i can try ?
Thanks, cheers.
ETA: Could this be a bluetooth issue? I had the bluetooth set to ON today (normally I have it OFF) while it was switching off automatically. I switched bluetooth off about an hour ago, and it has not switched off since.
