iPhone 4 signal attenuation problem after upgrade to iOS 4.0.2

Hi folks,

Is anyone who owns an iphone 4 still see signal issues after upgrade to iOS 4.0.1 or later?

Is the issue still existing or is the issue fixed after the iOS upgrade.

I am still seeing the issue and wanting to know if it's a hardware issue which is going to be addressed by apple in the near future.

Also do you folks know if Apple is going to introduce any fix(hardware related) for models coming after Oct 1 2010.

Their website says the free bumper case program runs only till Sept 30th 2010. So does that mean the phones coming out after Oct 1st is going to have the signal issue fixed(silent hardware fix)?

Can you folks clarify.

Nothing changed in 4.0.1 besides the size of the bars and how much service each bar represents. No physical changes. As for the 30th nobody really knows what's going to happen... Some people claim that they'll start shipping the bumper case with the iPhone 4 in the box, and others claim that they'll physically fix the issue.
