I went to restore my iPhone 4 today since it's been acting funny and lo and behold a 579.3 MB Software Update. Is this the update with the signal fix? I didn't think that would be out until next week...

Have you installed it? That's a pretty huge update. What difference do you notice?

Eh? says 4.0 is the current version...
You just redownloaded 4.0 for the restore.

I Haven't been able to hook up to a computer, but I would believe it would be huge right now if this was true.

Did a restore today too. I almost got fooled for a second into thinking I had done a restore at exactly the right time to get an update that had just hit the internet. But sadly....it was just restoring the 4.0 software as has been stated earlier in this thread. But to the "not so informed " like me -- it could easily be mistaken for an update....until you look at the version and it is still 4.0/:(

I'm not making this up. I was just thinking since it had a list of upgraded features and fixes that it was the update. I'm in the process of restoring. I'll let ya know if its different.
