iPhone 4 strange network issue

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem with their iPhone 4.
Whenever I'm in an area that I can't receive service, I now have to restart the phone for it to lock back on to the network. If I don't it just says " no service" indeffinatley, even in areas where I know there is normally a strong signal like my house.
Anyone else noticed this? Any ideas?
