I decided to upgrade by jail-broken iPhone (which was running the previous highest firmware that could be jailbroken) to 4.3.1 which had a JB released to day for it. So I plugged my phone into my computer and booted up itunes and backuped and then clicked update. This did not work, the phone and itunes progress bar just got stuck and stayed at the same percent every time. Now my phone is stuck in the connect to itunes screen, and I cannot exit recovery with tiny umbrella. I tried DFU mode, jailbreaking using redsnow and itunes mulitiple times. I even tried holding down the homebutton while plugging in and using terminal to kick the iphone out of recovery and deleting the gs.apple.com plist from terminal - all of which didnt work..

I've really tried everything.. anyone got any more ideas??

Im going to next try and restore while the home button is pressed the whole time, ill just rubber band something to it i guess..

Thanks Macrumors - and yes I searched the forums for a while b4 I posted this
