My iPhone is stuck in recovery mode. Everything was going fine while I was updating to iOS 4.2 until it was almost done. After everything was nearly finished, iTunes alerted me that "An unknown error 1013 has occurred, iPhone cannot be updated". The phone is now in recovery mode and when I try to restore iTunes alerts that "An unknown error has occurred, the iPhone cannot be restored". I called Apple and they are telling me they don't know what to do and to take it to an Apple Store. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thanks,

I have the same exact issue. Logs complained about unable to find bootrom during update and DFU mode doesn't work.

Fixed it! I restored using a different computer. The file I downloaded must have been corrupted.
