I know I have done something stupid.... here is my story and please give any advice you have

I jailbroke my phone about a week ago, and my lock button got jammed few days ago so I lived about few days with the assistive button to lock my phone (my phone is just about 2 months out warranty). And today I decided I didn't like the jailbreak and wanted to to get rid of it, but I didn't want to upgrade to ios 6, so I used erase all contents and settings which I didn't know I wasn't suppose to do at the time. Now my phone is stuck on the circling screen, I can't put it into DFU mode because the lock button is jammed. And I have also tried an archive which I found online that's suppose to put iphones into DFU mode without hold the buttons, but it didn't work and I think it's because my phone is stuck on the circling screen.

I looked up online and some people say that even after letting the battery drain and recharge the iphone won't get rid of the circling screen.

I also thought about completely wiping everything on the phone and reinstall, but I have never done it and don't really want to make it messier.

I think I have to first fix my jammed lock button, then get it to DFU mode and restore with itunes?

If anyone has a better idea please share with me as I am in desperate need of fixing my phone.

Fixed!

So I let the phone died and plugged it back in to charge, like what I looked up online before it didn't solve the problem. So I unplugged it right away and let it be dead for a day or so. Now I just plugged it back in cuz i was planning on trying some other funky stuff to fix it. My phone just magically came back on normally like before I clicked erase all contents.
