it was on 6.0.1 .. but my brother updated it to 6.1.3 .. i wanted to get back to 6.0.1 because i need to Jailbreak it .. so i used iFaith to custom 6.0.1 with SHSH blobs .. when it done the phone was in Soft DFU Mode .. Stuck there and i can't fix it .. searched on google and found that the problem is from SHSH blobs for iOS6.x .. i've tried this

-Restoring to 6.1.3 (Error 1600)

-Custom 5.1.1 with blobs (iTunes gives Error 1600 - Redsn0w tell me that the phone is not in recovery mode and break the operation)

So if you can help me with this .. i'll appreciate that so much

As far as I know, no one can downgrade to iOS 6.0-6.1.2 because of incomplete SHSH's. Have you tried just holding the Power+Home buttons till you get a Apple bootup logo?

Hi, you can JB iP4 6.1.3 using redsnow.

Tethered but if he can downgrade to 5.1.1 then he can JB untethered. Nothing wrong with a tethered JB though.

I thought you could make it untethered using cydia after the initial tethered JB.

Try putting it in Recovery Mode (disconnect the phone, press the home button and insert the cable and still pressing the home button until iTunes pops up) then Restore to 6.1.3 & tether jailbreak.
If you want untethered start Tiny Umbrella and downgrade to 5.1.1.
Should work. It's very hard to brick an iPhone these days, almost impossbile.

You can Jailbreak with Redsn0w but it's semi-tethered (Been running it for about 3 weeks now, works better than Evasi0n) With an iPhone 4 you can downgrade with SHSH blobs, however you can't use the one's from Cydia on 6.x as they are unfortunately corrupted.

Not sure if this will help you, but check it out. Worth a shot ;)

It's called semi-tethered. It just protects you for a reboot on the go. If in the event your phone has to reboot for whatever reason, and you are not near your PC, you'll still boot up with basic functionality, but nothing from your JB will work till you "JustBoot" with Redsn0w.
This is the repo in case anyone wants to know more.

Make sure your hosts file is pointing towards apple and not cydia. You cannot restore to iOS 6 with invalid shsh blobs which seems to be the case for you. However, your 5.1.1 shsh blobs should be valid if cydia has them for you

I know this thread is 7 years old, but this is all I could find on Google. I solved my DFU issues by flashing tethered without blobs in the Pro Flash section of 3uTools. after the flash failed, I rebooted the phone and it restored perfectly.
