So my iPhone 4 is just stuck at just over half way updating, anyone experiencing this problem? Any tips on how to fix it?

Yes idd, i have the same problem to. tried to get my iphone 3GS into recovery mode and did a new restore. After 3 times i'm about to give up...

damnit!

i know, me too. for some reason you still keep believing this time it may work... aaarhhgg! please let's hope someone has the answer!

Updating my dads 3G.. and its stuck halfway...

Wtf to do now..

i tried 4.1 through itunes.. i also downloaded 4.1 and tried doing alt + restore.

Now im trying 3.1.3.

Wtf good job Apple!

Just deleted all updates and reinstalled itunes 10, re-downloading 4.1 lets see what happens.

Right here's what worked for me: unplug iPhone, delete update from user>library>iTunes>iPhone updates, reinstall iTunes, restore iPhone. All worked :D

Anyways i managed to get it by going to my windows 7 machine and loading up itunes and restoring it.

Than i plugged it back into my mac to reload all the old settings/stuff

got an answer from Darrel, this seems to work..

Hi,

It's easy, but kind of annoying. First, unplug your frozen iPhone. Then, navigate to (Your User Name Directory)>Library>iTunes>iPhone Software Updates and delete the .ipsw that's there.

Now, reinstall iTunes by downloading it again from Apple's site and running the installer. Now, plug the phone back in and Restore when prompted. Should re-download the update and everything will go smoothly.

I'm really hoping this doesn't happen with every update, but my phone doesn't have any other problems. Are you using an iPhone 4?

Cheers,

Darrell
