iPhone 4 stucked in Itunes Logo

hi all,

i have updated my i4 to ios 4.2.1 knowing that i have no other choice. I dont know if its carrier unlocked or not. Now it was stuck in itunes logo. What should i do to? if i want use it as an ipod.

I have not actually done this myself, but if you have a Mac you might be able to Hacktivate with PwnageTool.

iPhone 4 4.2.1 Custom PwnageTool Bundle

1. Add the custom bundle to PwnageTool.
2. Create the custom tethered IPSW using PwnageTool. Ensure that you use expert mode and choose "Activate the phone" from general settings.
3. Place the phone in DFU mode with the help of PwnageTool.
4. Option+Restore the custom IPSW using iTunes

The phone should boot activated. If you want to use and jailbreak applications, you will have to boot tethered using redsn0w.

Note: You will not be able to use the iPhone as a phone.
