iPhone 4 swiping to unlock problem

I updated my iPhone 4 the other day. It has been working fine up until today. Every time I swipe to unlock and enter my pass code the screen freezes. The screen goes black. I tried a hard reset and after a while the same thing happens. I am doing a factory restore now. I hope that helps.

Is anyone else with an iPhone 4 experiencing the same problem?
