iPhone 4 sync in progress doesn't end

I plugged it in to check the shsh blobs I have and it didn't stop syncing. So I canceled it. Upgraded to 4.0.1 then it did its thing. When it showed back up in iTunes its still doing the endless syncing. Usually it says what the progress is like what it syncing, apps or photos or something, but just says syncing phone. I have almost no options other than apps and 1 photo album to sync. music manually managed.

Anyone else experiencing this. Only time i've noticed this is today.

I haven't seen this on the 4, but my 3G is doing it right now, at least on the phone end. It doesn't do it endlessly on the computer side.
