iphone 4 sync

why doe it take so long to sync on my laptop after an hour and it still saying sync calendars I gave up

Can you give a little more information?
Are you on a Mac or a PC?

Are you using the latest version of iTunes?

Have you tried restarting your phone and trying again?

yes on PC and my itunes is up to date. I did the back up of the iphone 3 then transferred my new iphone which did main update pretty quickly but then it said syncing contacts etc and then calendars which just seemed to take forever. eventually gave up and stopped sync. all the info appears to be there but itunes just did another update so might try again thanks
