Iphone 4 temperature warning but phone was cool in a cool room.

Evening all,

Hope you can help, first time I have noticed it. Tonight I came to pick up my phone to make a call it was on the table in a room 21C and tried to unlock it and it said "high temperature" with a yellow triangle with exclamation mark.

My phone was cold to touch so I dont know why this has happened.

The phone is about 8 weeks old and jail broken.

Is it faulty has any one else had this?

Reset the phone by holding the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time until the Apple symbol comes up. If you continue to have the problems, restore the phone. Other than that, I've got nothing.

Others have had this issue. Do what the poster above said and don’t worry about it unless it keeps happening. If it does, restore and setup as new and return it.
