Hi all , I'm going to head out on vacation and i do not want to bring my new iphone4 so what is the best way to use my 3GS again? Since the sim cards are not the same I can't do the sim swap. Any ideas? Thanks

If you still have your old simcard which I assume you do all you have to do is put that old sim card back in the 3GS and call AT&T and tell them you want to go back to your 3GS. They will need your IMEI number which is in the "about" area under settings and they will ask for something off the old sim card I think also.

why can't the OP simply get one of the micro sim -> sim card adapters sold on ebay?

Buying a phone and leaving it at my house when I leave it for whatever reason is a horrible buy. If you are so worried waddle over to state farm and purchase insurance. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy your phone more having it with you. Test out the camera... live a lil.

I just ordered a micro sim to sim adapter on eBay for $3 and I plan on popping the sim out of my 4 and into my 3GS on my beach vacation at the end of the month.

Thanks I'm going to get the sim adapter sounds like the easiest solution.
