I love the look and feel of the iPhone 4. It is one of the major "features" in my mind. The bummer is that it appears to be relatively fragile - based on the online drop tests and some of the reviews.

While I like the minimalist Apple bumper case I would prefer to use the phone without a case at all. Unfortunately $200 is a lot of money and the thought of having to replace it due to an accidental drop keeps it in the bumper.

Should I set the phone free? Do I trust that Apple did sufficient drop testing and released a product that would survive most normal wear and tear?

What have you decided? Are you rocking a case or living on the edge :)

No case for me. When apple sends me the free one, I may use it if I'm going to a bar or somewhere like that. But it will remain naked for the most part.

I've been pretty happy with my Incipio Feather case. Very form fitting.

Case it.

What do you have to lose? Especially if you use a bumper. You'll still get to show it off plenty.
