iPhone 4 to iPhone 6 Plus transfer

My mom has an iPhone 4 with iOS 7 and I'm moving her to an iPhone 6 Plus. So, her iCloud backup would be an iOS 7 backup, and iPhone 6 Plus ships with iOS 8. My question is, can I restore her iPhone 6 Plus from the iOS 7 iPhone 4 backup?

I'm aware that you can't restore from a backup that has a higher iOS version than the device, but not sure about the other way around....

You will be able to restore it from the iPhone 4 backup without a problem.
