iPhone 4 Touch screen problems during calls

I just got my iPhone 4 a few days ago. I upgraded from my 3G.

Almost every time I am talking on the phone, my face touches the screen and presses MUTE or HOLD or hangs up the phone! It is very very annoying and now I am starting to have to talk on speaker. Is their problem with that sensor there? The screen turns black when my ear is on the speaker but it still manages to not prevent my face from pressing buttons.

Anybody else have these issues??

where have you been? search the iPhone thread for proximity sensor and you'll probably pull up 20 threads about this.

Steve jobs said at the press conference they know about the issue and they're working on it.
