A line on my account is eligible for an upgrade currently so I was wondering whether I would be able to upgrade that line to an iPhone 4 and then sell it. I know I would be locked in to a 2 yr contract, but I was wondering several things:

1. Would I have to keep the data plan that came with the iPhone since I will be reverting back to my old phone which never used data? Essentially, is the new contract for voice only or does it entail data as well?

2. I know that the new iPhones have the microsims with the line's number already tied to it so as long as I take out the microsim before I sell it will I have any problems? I'm just worried that when the guy I sell the iPhone to tries to activate it, my upgraded line will be disconnected due to this new activation.

3. Is it something that I'm allowed to do to begin with. I know that normally you can sell any phone you upgrade to, but I wanted t make sure there were no extra rules put into effect for the iPhone.
