Hi,

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1. In the past couple of weeks my phone has switched itself off and I have been unable to start it normally and had to reboot it - please note that the battery is NOT flat. I don't know if this is related to the iOS version or if it is hardware related. Any experts out there with any idea's?

Thanks

I haven't experienced an iphone doing this, but with every other phone that I've had that has done this it has been the battery

New Battery?

If you try a restore and it still acts this way you may need a new battery or there could be another issue that is beyond my experience..I was having a battery issue with my iPhone 4 and the battery actually leaked and shorted out the dock, I sent my iPhone into a company called iRepairFast. They did a great job, cheap and fast! http://www.irepairfast.com/
